Blue Jays announce 2 surprising signings

The Blue Jays announced this morning that they have signed two new players to minor league deals, OF Yorman Licourt and LHP Danny Martinez.
Licourt is a massive 6'4 Cuban outfielder that has a ton of potential and a great swing. The deal with the Jays will see him earn a $600,000 signing bonus.

Licourt is the 16th Cuban born player to sign in the current international period.
6'4, 215 lbs, switch hitter. He left Cuba in 2023.

Martinez on the other hand is not well know but did impress a lot of GMs at the showcase last December which is where the Blue Jays saw him.
Both player have signed minor league deals but it has yet to be announced where they will start in the Jays minor league system.
