The Toronto Blue Jays announce a massive roster move tonight involving last year's first round pick Trey Yesavage.

Earlier this week, manager John Schneider stated that there was a good chance that the Blue Jays would end up calling up Yesavage at the end of the season.

Blue Jays have called up Trey Yesavage

MLB insider Ben Nicholson-Smith broke the news that the Blue Jays are calling up Yesavage to the majors as he will join the team Sunday in Toronto but might not be active for Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Possible he's not active until Monday but he's expected to join the team in Toronto Sunday. John Schneider set to address media tomorrow morning.
So far this season, Yesavage started off the year in Single-A and have moved up all the way to the majors, putting up a 3.12 ERA with 160 strikeouts in 98 innings pitched.
Yesavage, a 22-year-old right-hander with an unorthodox release point, has great minor-league numbers across four levels this season: a 3.12 ERA with 160 Ks vs. 41 walks in 98 innings.
Fans online have been freaking out since the news broke moments ago as this could be the missing piece to their bullpen.
As Blue Jays fans, none of us should take for granted how we feel right now. This is the peak of all peaks in terms of regular season for this franchise right now. You never know what the future holds. There's no guarantees for 2026 and beyond.

Savor this. Enjoy the moment.
It will be interesting to see how Yesavage does in his first game with the Blue Jays and when that will be.
