The Toronto Blue Jays finally have announced the results on Vladimir Guerrero Jr Jr's MRI results after leaving yesterday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates with hamstring inflammation.

The Blue Jays announced earlier this afternoon that Guerrero who not be in the lineup tonight against the Pirates which had fans worried that the injury was serious.

After Guerrero left the game yesterday, it was announced that he was taking scans and that the team would be giving out details today when they have more information.
Manager John Schneider told reporters this afternoon that the MRI came back clean and that Guerrero just has right hamstring inflammation and is now considered day to day.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. just has some inflammation in his left hamstring.

Good news for the #BlueJays at this point and John Schneider sounded relieved.

He's day-to-day and they could potentially use the off day Thursday.
Schneider added that they are just being extra careful with no playing him today but that he could be available for tomorrow's game and that he is feeling better today.

«just inflammation.. it was kind of precautionary for him, and he's feeling a little bit better today. So just trying to be as careful as we can with him, and glad we kind of got him out when we did.»

Guerrero is day to day per Schneider
This is phenomenal news for the Blue Jays who have been dealing with injury problems all year and finally avoided a serious injury with Guerrero.
