Blue Jays announce roster move involving Swanson and Romano

The Toronto Blue Jays have brought back right-handed closer Jordan Romano and right-handed reliever Erik Swanson from the 15-day injured list, adding them just in the nick of time to the roster for Tuesday's matchup against the New York Yankees.

ROSTER MOVES:


🔹 RHP Jordan Romano and RHP Erik Swanson reinstated from 15-day IL

🔹 RHP Nate Pearson optioned to Triple-A

🔹 RHP Mitch White designated for assignment

The Injury bug seems to be coming to an end for the Blue Jays. Both Romano and Swanson were with the team today after doing well and completing their rehab assignemnt with Triple-A Buffalo.

To make room for these fan favorite and established pitchers, Toronto optioned right-handed pitcher Nate Pearson to Triple-A and designated right-hander Mitch White for assignment.
