Blue Jays announce starting pitcher for tonight vs Nationals

The Blue Jays take on the Nationals this afternoon in hopes of winning after a disastrous first game of the series.

The team announced that we will see Kevin Gausman on the mound as he hopes to lead Toronto to another win.

Gausman had his first win last game against the Dodgers where he had a phenomenal performance striking out 5 batters, allowing 5 hits and giving up 1 run in 7 innings pitched.

The Blue Jays ace pitcher started off the season struggling but has settled down, he now has a 4.50 ERA with 23 strikeouts and 1.36 WHIP on the season.

The Blue Jays take on the National at 4:05 P.M in Washington.
