Bo Bichette has been absent all postseason with a PCL sprain he suffered at the end of the season, but he is battling his way through the World Series now for the Toronto Blue Jays, who are playing in game 7 tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Bichette will not require off-season surgery, which will definitely help him during free agency when negotiating his value.

Bichette still productive despite severe limitations for the Blue Jays.

Anthony Franco of MLB trade rumours reported on Bichette's efforts in the World Series, while he is barely mobile, he has still picked up 5 hits and 3 RBI's in his 18 trips to the plate this series.
"He did address the injury before tonight's Game 6, telling Ben-Nicholson Smith of Sportsnet that he does not expect he'll need to undergo offseason surgery. Bichette suffered the injury in a collision at home plate with Yankees catcher Austin Wells on September 6. He was out of action for almost seven weeks before making his return for the Fall Classic."-Franco

There is no doubt Bichette would still be on the injured list if it were still the regular season, but his perseverance to play and still put up respectable numbers says a lot to him as a person and a player, and it will help him when he becomes a free agent this winter.
"The 27-year-old infielder (28 in March) is days away from becoming a free agent for the first time in his career. He's widely viewed as the second-best player in the class behind Kyle Tucker. There'll be teams that prefer Bichette as a second baseman, but he's an annual threat to lead the league in hits and is coming off a .311/.357/.483 batting line in the regular season."-Franco

Bichette will be playing in the final game of the season tonight where everything is on the line.
Bichette has already made an impact this series, but if he can perform on the biggest stage this sport has to offer, in the condition he is currently in, the Blue Jays will almost have to re-sign him and make him a Blue Jays for life.
