Blue Jays finally secure first series win of the season

Tuesday proved to be a phenomenal night for the Toronto Blue Jays as they defeated the Seattle Mariners by a score of 5-3 and secured their first series win of the season.

On Monday, the Blue Jays won by a score of 5-2. It was a fantastic outing highlighted by Jose Berrios. On Sunday, Tuesday, however, it was Chris Bassitt who delivered a bounce back performance, according to MLB Stats. He had eight strikeouts and only gave up one run in his six and two-thirds innings of action.

As for the Blue Jays bats, they were fantastic as well. George Springer had two hits, while Isiah Kiner-Falefa added three. Meanwhile, Bo Bichette got his first home run of the entire season. It is a huge accomplishment for him, and fans are eager to see if he can get on a run.

With yesterday's win, the Blue Jays have gotten themselves back to .500 with a record of 6-6. Meanwhile, the Mariners continue to struggle and have lost three straight. For the Blue Jays, they have lacked consistency. However, they still have a chance to prove to fans that they can keep things solid for more than just two games.

Later today, the Blue Jays will be taking on the Mariners at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time. Overall, this is going to be a huge game for the Blue Jays as they look to sweep the series.
