Blue Jays Justin Turner leads the AL in impressive category

Blue Jays Justin Turner has been on fire this season regardless of the fact that he is at the end of his career, he leads the American league in OBP.

Turner had an incredible game yesterday putting up 3 hits and 3 RBIs in 4 at bats in a 5-0 win over the Rockies. The 39 year-old has been batting .386 so far this season and leads the American League with a .481 OBP.






At any age, having a .481 OBP is an incredible achievement but to be doing it at 39 years old is phenomenal. When the Jays signed Turner, many wondered if he still had anything left in him which he has been proving that he clearly does as his bat has been on fire since the start of the season.

Hopefully Turner keeps this incredible pace up and will continue to help the Blue Jays turn their offensive struggles around.
