The Blue Jays have put single-game tickets for 2027 spring training on sale. Fans can start planning trips to Dunedin, even with a possible lockout looming.

The club made the announcement on social media this week. “2027 #SpringTraining Single Game Tickets are on sale now!” the Jays posted.

It's an early sign of normalcy in a winter full of uncertainty. The Brewers just won the World Series, and free agency is days away.

The timing comes with an asterisk. The collective bargaining agreement expires Dec. 1, and a lockout looks likely.

If it drags on, spring training could be affected. Fans buying now are betting that baseball starts on schedule.

Is it still worth grabbing tickets? For a lot of fans, absolutely.

Nolan Perry and Addison Barger headline a spring worth watching

There's plenty to see. Top pitching prospect Nolan Perry could push for a big-league debut, and Jay Harry and Javen Coleman are knocking on the door, too.

Addison Barger and Anthony Santander are both expected back from long injury layoffs. Spencer Miles could be stretched out as a possible starter.

Brett Bateman will try to lock down center field and the leadoff spot. Dylan Cease will look to show his shoulder is healthy after ending 2026 on the IL.

The Florida angle could even help in free agency. Randy Arozarena reportedly prefers an East Coast team that trains in Florida, and Dunedin checks that box.

The Jays are smart to get tickets out now. After a last-place season, giving fans something concrete to look forward to matters, even if the labour fight muddies the picture.

Buying spring training tickets in October is like booking a summer cottage in January. You don't know what the weather will bring, but having the reservation makes winter easier.

The front office still has work to do before anyone arrives. Ross Atkins needs bats, starters and a few tough 40-man decisions before Nov. 17.

If all goes well, Dunedin will be packed in February. If the lockout lingers, these tickets could end up being the most optimistic purchase of the winter.
