The Toronto Blue Jays are still in the market for a slugger that can add to the teams offense and the latest suggest that might be Japanese star Munetaka Murakami.
Due to these rumors, there has been speculation that the Blue Jays might end up replacing Ernie Clement with Murakami since both play third base.
Update on Blue Jays and Munetaka Murakami
The Japanese slugger will have to make a decision rather soon as his posting window will close on Monday at % PM ET which means he will have to sign by then if he wants to play in the MLB next season.

Where will Murakami land when the deadline comes on Monday?
Where will Murakami land when the deadline comes on Monday?
The tough part in all of this is because of the posting window deadline, the Blue Jays will have to make a decision rather quickly, meaning they will not be able to wait to see what Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette do.
As a result, as much as the Blue Jays would want to continue their pursuits of both Tucker and Bichette, they should also carefully consider taking action with Murakami before his time officially expires on Monday. -Eng
Murakami will certainly be an incredible add to the Blue Jays offense if they are able to land him but at the same time it is a very risky situation since he could end up taking Tucker or Bichette's spot.
If the deadline was not in effect, the Blue Jays would have more time to consider all of their options but this is certain a player they want to strongly look at before Monday's deadline.
