Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Wes Parsons has officially been traded to the Cleveland Guardians. A decision that was made after two rocky seasons with the franchise.
When Wes Parsons made the opening day roster for the Blue Jays, fans were a bit confused. Overall, he wasn't someone who got a lot of playing time last season. Moreover, with the team's crowded bullpen, it didn't seem like he would get to do much. In the early goings of the season, that certainly became confirmed, with Parsons barely seeing any action. In fact, just a few days ago, he was designated to wait for an assignment.
Well, today, the Blue Jays noted that Parsons would be heading to Cleveland. This will be in exchange for International Signing Bonus Pool Space. Perhaps this will be used on Silvano Hechevarria, who the Blue Jays have been thinking about signing.

This trade comes amid a solid stretch of baseball from the Blue Jays. They have won two games in a row against the Seattle Mariners, with both games coming in front of their home crowd. Now, their record is 6-6, and they are looking to get back above .500.
