Tonight is a huge opportunity for the Toronto Blue Jays as they take on the Seattle Mariners in the team's home opener, which comes amid a two-game losing streak.
According to the Toronto Blue Jays, the home opener's starting pitcher will be Jose Berrios. Meanwhile, Blue Jays fans will be happy to know that fan favorites like Justin Turner and Davis Schneider will be in the lineup. There have been times where they have been left out of the lineup, and fans have been absolutely livid. That said, it seems like Manager John Schneider is aware of the fact that the team needs an injection of offense.
Yesterday, the Blue Jays ended up losing to the New York Yankees by a score of 8-3. The day before, they lost to the Yankees, 9-8. However, it was one of the few games this season where they were able to impress offensively.

No matter what, this is a huge game for both the Blue Jays and the Mariners. They currently have records of 4-6 which are pretty subpar. Meanwhile, the Jays have struggled offensively and they have allowed their roster to mostly be dictated by analytics.
