Over the next four days, the Toronto Blue Jays will compete in their first series of the Major League Baseball season. Every single one of these games will be played away from home, against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Opening Day is finally upon us which means the Blue Jays are about to embark on a 162-game season. It is promising to be a huge year for the Jays especially as they look to shake off the negative feelings from last season's Wild Card loss. To start the year, they will be on the road until April 8th. During this road stretch, they will take on the Tampa Bay Rays, the Houston Astros, and the New York Yankees.

First up, however, are the Rays. When it comes to the pitching match-ups, it's been reported that the first game of the series will see Jose Berrios of the Blue Jays face off against the Rays' Zach Eflin. In Game 2, Chris Bassitt will go up against Aaron Civale. Game 3 is going to be a head-to-head between Yusei Kikuchi and Zack Littell. Lastly, Game 4 is predicted to see Bowden Francis battle it out against Tyler Alexander.

As for batting leaders, this is all going to come down to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Blue Jays, and Josh Lowe of the Rays. Vlad had an average of .463 in Spring Training. Meanwhile, Lowe exploded with his production at .667. Randy Arozarena led the Rays with four home runs in Spring Training. As for Kevin Kiermaier, he had four home runs for the Blue Jays. This puts both teams at a dead heat offensively, and it should be fun to watch them duke it out.

If you are planning on watching the Opening Day festivities, you will be able to do so as of 4:10 PM Eastern Standard Time. Fans in Toronto can watch the Game on Sportsnet, while fans in Tampa Bay can tune in through Bally Sports Sun. Be sure to keep it locked to Blue Jays Insider as we continues to keep you updated on your favorite team throughout the Major League Baseball season.
