Bowden Francis prepares to bounce back against the Yankees

Francis played his first start on April 1st and gave up three home runs, seven runs, and 10 hits, according to MLB.com. This subsequently resulted in a 10-0 loss for the Blue Jays. However, today, it was revealed by the Blue Jays that Francis would get the start against the Yankees.

This will be a pivotal start for Francis, especially since the Blue Jays lost on Saturday. The final score was 9-8 and considering it was 9-2 at one point, the comeback was impressive. That said, the Blue Jays offense will need to continue producing at this clip if they want to succeed.

Francis will be tasked with trying to get the team back to a .500 record. This would be huge considering the team is set to embark on a home opener come Monday. They will be playing against the Seattle Mariners, and fans are excited to finally see the team in their home stadium.
