The Toronto Blue Jays are currently taking on the San Diego Padres with a 7-0 lead but Anthony Santander left the game with a bad injury.
Santander has been a rough stretch to start the 2025 season as he cannot seem to find any consistency at the plate and now this hip injury which has been bothering him for a little while now does not seem to help.

News broke moments ago that the reason that Jonatan Clase pinch hit for Santander was because he was removed from the game with left hip inflammation which is something that has been bothering him since last week.

Hopefully Santander will not be out too long but it looks like it might not be great since he has been in pain for a few days now.
