Blue Jays fans are fed up with manager John Schneider after another awful decision last night in which he decided to keep George Springer as their lead off hitter regardless of struggles.
Springer has been struggling all season but it has been extremely bad as of lately with a .129 batting average and .254 on base percentage in his last 7 games.
John Schneider must find the GUTS to move down Springer. Results scream for it: .129 BA, .254 OPS last 7 games, cratering dramatically from an already bad .208 BA, .551 OPS last 30. Once great hitter who's lost bat speed. Schneider is killing the Jays while he sits on his hands!
Fans do not understand why Schneider continues to put Springer as their leadoff hitter even though the numbers clearly prove he is not the player he once was.
Springer had another tough outing yesterday after only getting one hit in 5 at bats which is actually better than his usual of 0 hits.
Something needs to change and quickly if the Blue Jays want to turn their season around but fans keep seeing minimal changes regardless of bad results.
