Former beloved Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen already in big trouble with the Brewers
Former Toronto Blue Jays beloved catcher Danny Jansen was traded at the deadline by the Tampa Bay Rays to the Milwaukee Brewers and things have no been going according to plan at all.
The Brewers acquired Jansen and cash at the deadline in exchange for second baseman Jadher Areinamo who was sent to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange.

Milwaukee traded for Jansen to add some depth at the catcher position and were hoping to get some additional offense along with it but it looks like that has been far from the situation thus far.
Jansen has now played in 4 games for the Brewers including 10 at bats but has only managed to get 1 hit giving him a .100 batting average along with a .167 on base percentage so far with the Brewers.

Brewers fans have been quick to jump on social media to voice their opinion on Jansen and it looks like the majority is not too impressed with the acquisition so far.
Jansen stated in the off-season that he signed a one year deal as he was hoping to have a great 20255 season and be able to land a long term deal but with how things have gone this year, that will most likely not happen.
During his time with the Blue Jays, Jansen had some great years including 2023 when he finished with 17 homeruns and 53 RBIs in 86 games but his biggest issue has always been his consistency.
Hopefully Jansen will find a way to turn things around from here until the end of the season if not he will have a tough time finding a new contract next off-season.
