Cito Gaston, the former manager of the Toronto Blue Jays recently went on Blair & Barker on Sportsnet to discuss how good the Blue Jay shave been this season.

The Blue Jays have been one of the best teams in baseball and everyone has been taking notice as they actually had the best record in the entire league at one point.

Former Blue Jays manger Cito Gaston speaks on the team

Gaston has not been in Toronto since his second stint with the team which ended in 2010 but will always have a place in fans heart as the manager that led them to back to back World Series wins.
Today during the Blair & Barker show, Gaston joined to speak on the current state of the Blue Jays stating that they are similar to the 1989 he managed as they never quit even when they are behind.
«It reminds me of a team we had in '89 when we were 12-24 and came back and won our division They just never quit.»

& Kevin Barker.
While the 1989 team did not win the World Series, this is still quite some praise from Gaston as that team went onto win the division and was one of the best Bleu Jays teams ever.
The Blue Jays clearly proved to have no quit in them last night as they fought back to win 9-8 against the Minnesota Twins to give them their American League leading 40th comeback win of the season.
