Former Toronto Blue Jays infielder has joined the Seattle Mariners

The Seattle Mariners announced yesterday that they have selected Samad Taylor and called him to the MLB after recent injuries.
The Mariners have been dealing with a lot of injuries to start the season and they announced yesterday that infielder Dylan Moore was placed on 10 day IL due to right hip inflammation.
The banged-up Mariners made another injury-related roster move on Tuesday afternoon, but the right hip inflammation that utility man Dylan Moore has been dealing with, they hope, is far less severe than some of their other significant health-related issues. -Kramer
Former Blue Jays infielder Samad Taylor joins the Mariners
The Mariners announced a few roster moves yesterday which includes placing Moore on 10 day IL, moving RHP Gregory Santos from 15 day IL to 60 day IL and selecting former Blue Jays outfielder Samad Taylor for triple-A.

INF/OF Samad Taylor selected from Triple-A Tacoma
RHP Gregory Santos transferred from 15-day IL to 60-day IL -Kramer
Taylor has been on fire so far in the minors as he has 15 hits, 3 homeruns,, 10 RBIs and a .429 batting average in his last 9 games in the minors.

The Blue Jays acquire
Taylor back in 2017 from the Cleveland Guardians in a three player trade but then traded him to the Kansas City Royals in 2022 as part of the package for Whit Merrifield.
Taylor took a while to develop but he looks like he is finally ready to stick around in the big leagues.
