Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Richard Lovelady was done dirty by the New York Mets yesterday as they DFA'd the pitcher in a rough way.
A couple of days ago the Mets announced that they agreed to a deal with former Blue Jays pitcher Richard Lovelady but his time in New York was unfortunately short lived.

The Mets announced that they decided to DFA Lovelady yesterday, only two days after they signed the veteran pitcher as he has now been DFA'd three times this season.
Lovelady was not the only pitcher the Mets decided to DFA yesterday as Jose Castillo also faced the same fate.

The Mets only kept Lovelady for 1.2 innings as they he finished his made only one apperance and it looks like New York saw enough there and did not want to keep him after that which seems quite rough.
While Lovelady did not have a great performance giving up 1 hit and 2 earned runs in 1.2 innings pitched, it seems a little rough to give him such little time on the mound then deciding to get rid of him.
