Since the Blue Jays are in a tough spot when it comes to injuries in their bullpen, it will be interesting to see if they decide to bring him back since he had some solid years for the Blue Jays.
The former Blue Jays reliever was one of the few have decent pitchers they had in their bullpen last year which is why bringing him back could definitely be a option for Toronto.
Even if
Richards does not end up back in Toronto now that he is a free agent, he will surely be able to land a new deal with one of the other 30 teams in the league which will likely be a minor league deal.
