Gausman looking to turn things around after horrible first 2 starts
The Blue Jays have announced that Kevin Gausman will be on the mound today against the Yankees looking to turn things around after a horrible first 2 starts to the season.
Gausman is off the worst start of his career as he currently sits at 0-2 on the season with a 11.54 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and only 10 strikeouts through 2 games.Gaus on the bump today, looking to pickup his first W of the season. The Blue Jays ace pitcher will have the opportunity to help his team get the sweep against the Yankees if he is able to get back to his old form from last season. There is still a ton of baseball left in the season but the way things are going right now for Gausman is definetly worrisome.
Even though Gausman has been struggling, the Blue Jays pitchers such as Berrios and Kikuchi have been on fire this season picking up the slack.
The Blue Jays take on the Yankees at 3:07 today at the Rogers Centre as they try and sweep the Yankees.
