George Springer has expressed that he would have like to have seen the new Toronto Blue Jays Nike City Connect Jersey feature a sleeveless design, similar to what the Colorado Rockies wear.

George Springer says he'd like to see the Blue Jays bring back a vest jersey, like the ones the Rockies sometimes wear. Bo Bichette says he likes the idea, especially if sleeves are optional.

Even though the attitude around the jersey has been positive, these comments made by Springer have many fans online telling him to just focus on baseball, and not on the design of a jersey.
