The Toronto Blue Jays made a brutal announcement as they continue to struggle with injury issues in their bullpen as Yimi Garcia has been placed on 15 day IL.
The Blue Jays bullpen currently has a ton of players out on IL and now with Garcia out for the next couple of weeks, they are definitely in a tough spot as he was one of their best relievers so far this season.

The Blue Jays announced before their game against the Rays that they placed relief pitcher Yimi Garcia on 15 day IL due to a right shoulder impingement which is not a good sign.
According to Blue Jays manager John Schneider, Garcia has been dealing with this issue for the last few weeks and it has hit a point where they feel it is best to give him some time to recover.
Toronto placed reliever Yimi Garcia on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement, the team announced Saturday. Manager John Schneider told reporters Saturday that the issue has slowly developed over the last few weeks. -Sportsnet
The Blue Jays also announced that they have called up pitcher Paxton Schultz while Garcia recovers from this shoulder injury.

This is a tough break for the Blue Jays who's bullpen is already without some of their best pitchers and now with Garcia down too, the depth guys will seriously have to step up their game.
Hopefully Garcia's shoulder just needs some rest and he will be back at the end of his 15 day break in top shape.
