Yusei Kikuchi is pitching phenomenal this year as he has given up 2 or less runs in 8 of his 10 starts this season for the Blue Jays, but can't seem to find any support from his offense…

Yusei Kikuchi has given up 2 ER or less in 8 out of his 10 starts for the Toronto Blue Jays this season.

They are 3-5 in these starts.

As stated above he has an extremely low, sub 3 ERA for a starter, accumulating a record of 2-4, with a 2.56 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 58 innings pitched!

Yusei Kikuchi, Wicked 83mph Curveball. 🤢

The bigger story is the lack of offense when he is out there on the mound. In all the starts where he has given 2 or less runs, The Toronto Blue Jays are 3-5… what is going on?

In all the awful baseball this season, Kikuchi has been a bright light at the end of a long and dark tunnel, the Jays need these kind of starts to keep them in games where they don't score a lot of runs.
