A Blue Jays fan made a good point online that Atkins should be fired before Schneider since Atkins has had years to build his roster and get all the pieces he wants yet the team has failed to accomplish anything. He has already fired 2 managers during his time in Toronto and if he gets to fire Schneider, that will be the third including Montoya and Gibbons.
While Schneider might be a problem as well, ownership needs to get rid of Atkins first before making any moves regarding their manager. With the awful track record Atkins has, he should not be in charge of firing another manager and looking for his replacement.
