The Los Angeles Angels announced that after getting swept by the Toronto Blue Jays in three straight games, they have decided to sign former Blue Jays outfielder Brandon Drury.

The Blue Jays have now won their last 9 games with their win over the Chicago White Sox last night which included sweeping both the Angels and Yankees last week in Toronto.

The Blue Jays put a beating on the Angels last week as they took all three games even though most of the games were quite tight, the Angels failed to secure a single win.
After the series, the Angels announced that they decided to sign former Blue Jays outfielder Brandon Drury to a minor league deal after he was released by the Chicago White Sox in May.

Angels, Brandon Drury Agree To Minor League Deal
Drury actually played for the Angels last season where he finished with 15 homeruns, 27 RBIs and a .169 batting average in 97 games before becoming a free agent last off-season and signing in Chicago.
Between 2018 and 2020, Drury played 149 games for the Blue Jays with his best season for Toronto coming in 2019 when he finished with 15 homeruns and 41 RBIs in 120 games played.
The Angels announced that Drury has already been assigned to the Angels minor league team in the Arizona Complex League.
