With Chris Bassitt earning the win and moving to 6-6 on the season yesterday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, he also reached another major career milestone.
Chris Bassitt has officially pitched 1,000 career innings.

When Bassitt go the first out in the 3rd inning yesterday, he reached 1000 career innings pitched, which is a massive achievement for the starter.

Since April 26th, Bassitt has pitched masterfully, and the story was the same for last nights game. in his last 35 IP, he has gone 4-2 with a 2.83 ERA.
Last night he threw over 100 pitches and went a solid 5 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs and striking out 7.
The 35-year-old is scheduled to make his next start Friday June 7th VS the Oakland Athletics.
