Blue Jays announce phenomenal update regarding Max Scherzer
Scherzer has been throwing on and off for the past month or so but has taken some breaks throughout due to back soreness on top of his thumb issues but it looks like things are finally starting to look up.
According to reports, Scherzer and Nick Sandlin had a bullpen session yesterday in which Scherzer threw a total of 33 pitches which everyone including manager John Schneider were pretty excited about.

Sportsnet insider Shi Davidi stated that he spoke with Scherzer after the session and that the veteran pitcher was quite happy with the intensity of the session and that he is excited to throw again later this week.

This is great news for the Blue Jays who have been having some trouble lately with their starting rotation since they only have four real options which is not easy to maintain over a long stretch.
Scherzer getting back into the lineup will be great for the Blue Jays but at the same time it is hard not to worry about the possibility of him going down again since he is clearly still injured.
