Potential offer revealed for Gleyber Torres as the Toronto Blue Jays are very interested

The New York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres has become a free agent and it looks like the Toronto Blue Jays are interested in signing him.
Torres is coming off of a down year in 2024 for his standards but it was still solid overall as he had a .257 batting average to go along with 15 homeruns and 63 RBIs but has 7 seasons of 24 or more homeruns in his past.
Torres would be an interesting pickup for the Blue Jays. He slashed .257/.330/.378 with 15 home runs and 63 RBIs in what was somewhat a down year for him. He has four seasons with 24 home runs or more in his seven-year big league career. -McAvoy
The Blue Jays are interested in signing Gleyber Torres
The Blue Jays have no real second baseman lined up for next season despite having an abundance of infielders, none of them are true major league starters which is why Torres would make a ton of sense for the Blue Jays to sign.
The former Yankees second baseman is only 27 years old with already 6 years of experience in the majors plus being a solid defensive infielders, he would be well worth the 3 year $20 million contract he is suppose to get this winter.
He is just 27 years old and is projected to get a three-year, $20 million deal this winter. If he actually is available for that price, the Blue Jays certainly should snatch him. -McAvoy
If the Blue Jays could land Torres for this amount, it would be a no brainer to make him the offer as he would be a massive addition to their lineup next season.
