The Toronto Blue Jays have a busy off-season as they are not looking only at improving their lineup but their farm system as well which is why their are eyeing Cristopher Polanco for the international free agency.
The Blue Jays have been linked to a ton of free agents this winter such as Max Fried, Juan Soto and Corbin Burnes, while improving their lineup is their main concern, they are also looking to improve their farm system.

The international free agent period is set to kick off as of January 15th 2025 and it looks like the Blue Jays have their eyes on a top 30 prospect once again in Cristopher Polanco.
Polanco is a 16 year old shortstop prospect from the Dominican republic and is seen as one of the best young prospects in this 2025 international free agent class which is a huge plus for the Blue Jays.

Polanco ranks as MLB Pipeline's 21st-best available prospect. The 5'11», 170 lb shortstop has very little projection remaining and has a hit-over-power profile, imagine that. What he lacks in size, he makes up with athleticism but he'll probably end up at second base. -Delaney
