The Blue Jays took on the Cleveland Guardians today and for a reason no one seems to understand, John Schneider decided to put George Springer at clean up.
Springer has been having a terrible season at the plate where most would think his playing time would get diminished but Schneider has stated he is no where near benching Springer and decide to make him bat fourth today.
Alright I'm convinced.
We're trying to tank this season.
Wtf is this lineup
The 34 year old ended the day going 0 for 3 with 1 walk which is far from what a clean up hitter is supposed to do.
After this most recent decision, fans are wondering if the Blue Jays are purposely trying to tank.
