Pitchers and catchers officially report to Dunedin on Wednesday, February 11, marking the end of a long, cold winter and the beginning of a defining chapter for this franchise.

The trucks have been unpacked at the Player Development Complex and the Florida sun is shining on a roster that looks drastically different than the one that walked off the field last October.
Monday, February 16 is the circle-on-the-calendar date for the first full-squad workout.
We have to address the elephant in the room immediately: seeing Bo Bichette in a New York Mets uniform is going to hurt.
Losing a homegrown star and fan favorite to free agency is a bitter pill that doesn't go down easy.
But Ross Atkins didn't sit in the corner and sulk; he went out and completely reloaded the chamber.
The arrival of Dylan Cease gives this rotation a legitimate ace with swing-and-miss stuff we’ve desperately craved.
And let’s talk about the commitment to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Signed International FA, 2015 by Toronto).
Locking him up for 14 years and $500 million wasn't just a transaction, it was a declaration of war on the rest of the AL East.
With Vladdy securing the bag, the leadership torch has officially been passed, and now he has the supporting cast to make noise.
Kazuma Okamoto brings a mysterious and exciting power bat from Japan that could be the X-factor this lineup needs.

The youth movement is finally ready to launch

While the veterans get the headlines, the real story of camp might be the young arms ready to erupt.
Trey Yesavage (Drafted 1st Round, 2024 by Toronto) is coming off a debut where he set a franchise record for strikeouts.
He looks like a seasoned pro already and the rotation spot is frankly his to lose.
If Ricky Tiedemann (Drafted 3rd Round, 2021 by Toronto) can finally stay healthy, this pitching staff transforms from "good" to "nightmare fuel" for opponents.
The first game against the Phillies on February 21 will be our first glimpse of this new identity. It’s a new era in Toronto, and despite the heartbreaks of the offseason, the ceiling hasn't been this high in years.
