The Montreal Expos seem to be on their way back to the MLB
The Montreal Expos have been out of the MLB for more than 20 years but it looks like there is a real chance that the team might return in the not so distant future.
Fans in Montreal have been wanting the MLB to bring back their team ever since they left in the early 2000's and moved to Washington.
Montreal Expos might be back in the MLB very soon
Montreal Native and Watch Mojo founder, Ashkan Karbasfrooshan, has always been a massive baseball fan and when he started out to make his now massive entertainment site, he always said he would use the money to bring a team back to Montreal and have a second team in Canada along the Blue Jays.
In a recent article, Karbasfrooshan spoke on wanting to bring back the Expos to Montreal stating that it would be almost impossible but it seems like it is still a goal of his.
People often ask why I still work. The honest answer is that building something meaningful still drives me. Solving complex problems fulfills me. As CEO/CXO, I work across content, sales, marketing, legal, human resources, technology, finance, international, partnerships - all functions required for an undertaking of this magnitude. When some have brought up that land for a stadium could be an issue, Karbasfrooshan stated that Montreal is ten times larger than Manhattan and Atlanta.

Karbasfrooshan even admitted than when he first started WatchMojo, his goal was to bring back the Expos with the money he made.
Considering that for 20 years I told everyone «I started WatchMojo to bring back the Expos,» it began to feel hypocritical to ignore this calling now that I'm actually in a position to explore it. -Karbasfrooshan
Now, Karbasfrooshan is asking fans to fill out a survey so that he can seem how they feel and if bringing back a team to Montreal would actually be worth the effort.

While this project will certainly not be an easy one, it looks like having a second Canadian city in the MLB along the Toronto Blue Jays is once again a possibility.
