Former Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Zach Pop is once against a free agent after being DFA'd then released into free agency yesterday.

Earlier this month, the Mariners released Pop in which he ended up signing a minor league deal with the Mets but that lasted less than a week as he is back on the free agent market.

Former Blue Jays pitcher Zach Pop released by the Mets

Earlier this season, the Blue Jays decided to release Pop after he dealt with some injury problems and they did not want to risk having to pay him his salary which is how he landed with the Seattle Mariners.
Dealing with some elbow soreness during spring training, the Blue Jays were unable to outright him to the minor leagues, which resulted in the team deciding to release him. -Teape

Pop was signed by the Mets to a deal last week after after making only pitching 1 innings as he gave up 5 hits, 3 runs, including one homerun, the Mets decided to DFA him.
Only one appearance was made with them on July 6 against the New York Yankees. He was charged with the loss, giving up three runs in 1.1 innings of work, surrendering five hits, including one home run.

Shortly after that outing, Pop was designated for assignment. -Teape

The Mets outrighted Pop to their Triple-A team but he refused the assignment and re-entered free agency as he will look to find himself a new deal.
Instead of accepting an outright assignment to Triple-A Syracuse, the veteran righty has opted to become a free agent after clearing waivers, per MLB Trade Rumors. -Teape

2025 has been brutal for Pop as he is now looking for his fourth team and currently has a 14.85 ERA on the season in 6.2 innings pitched with only 3 strikeouts and has given up 4 homeruns.
It will certainly not be easy for Pop to find himself a new contract with how he has performed this season.
