The Philadelphia Phillies are apparently very interested in acquiring Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette but it looks like Toronto might not be willing to deal him after all.
Reports recently came out that the Blue Jays have decided that they are unwilling to move Bichette at the trade deadline despite rumors suggesting otherwise because Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro want to make a big playoff push this season.

The Blue Jays do not seem to want to sign Bichette to a contract extension as they have yet to begin any negotiations but at the same time it looks like they do not want to trade him either.
According to reports, the Phillies would be very interested in trading for Bichette due to how well he has been hitting this season with a .279 batting average, .324 on base percentage with 8 homeruns and 37 RBIs on the season.
Recent rumors have circulated that the Phillies should target Toronto Blue Jays' star shortstop, Bo Bichette. Given his track record of success at the plate, there is no doubt that Bichette is a highly sought-after player.

According to reports, the Blue Jays have no plan on trading a key piece like Bichette at the deadline as they plan on being buyers this year to a make a real push for the World Series.
