The Toronto Blue Jays have been without outfielder Anthony Santander for about a month now and it looks like he will not be back anytime soon according to update.
The Blue Jays have not had it easy this season when it comes to injuries as almost the enter lineup has missed at least a few games but there has also been players like Max Scherzer, Daulton Varsho and Andres Gimenez who have missed significant time.
Blue Jays announce terrible update on Anthony Santander
The Blue Jays placed Anthony Santander on 10 day IL at the end of May in which most fans thought was just to give him a break for how terribly he was playing but it looks like the injury was more serious than that.
The Blue Jays have placed Anthony Santander on the 10-Day injured list.
Santander is hitting .179 this season with an OPS of .577 with 6 HR and 18 RBI.
According to reports, Santande has yet to begin hitting or even swinging a bat which means his injury was a lot more serious than anyone expected.
Reports also added that outfielder Daulton Varsho has been running a little bit and should hopefully be returning to the lineup soon if things continue to progress properly.
Daulton Varsho (hamstring) is «running a little bit more» and should be running the bases soon, John Schneider said.
