The Toronto Blue Jays announced this evening ahead of their game against the Boston Red Sox that they have signed Seojun Moon.
Back in August, the Blue Jays announced they had reached an agreement with Moon with a $1.5 million signing bonus but nothing was official just yet.

The Blue Jays announced this evening that they have officially signed Moon to a contract as he was at the Rogers Centre to sign and watch them take on the Red Sox.

Toronto was able to use the money these traded for from the Cleveland Guardians on Moon who was one of the top international free agents available.

While the Blue Jays were unable to lure Roki Sasaki away from the Los Angeles Dodgers, they ended up getting things done with Moon.
Since Moon is only 18 years old, he likely still has a lot of time before he pitches in the majors for Toronto but this signing is crucial for the future of the organization as the Blue Jays are starting to bring in a lot of great young talent.
