The Toronto Blue Jays announce some surprising roster moves this morning as Jonatan Clase has been optioned to Triple-A.
The Blue Jays have been having quite a few injuries problems lately with multiple players dealing with problems yesterday including Max Scherzer, Bo Bichette and George Springer.

The Blue Jays are set to take on the New York Yankees for Canada Day and announce some interesting roster moves as they have decided to option Jonatan Clase and call up Leo Jimenez.
ROSTER MOVES:
INF Leo Jiménez recalled from Triple-A and will be active today
The reasoning behind the move is apparently because Jimenez has more experience as an infielder than Clase and since Bichette is still out today, the Blue Jays decided to call him.

Jimenez gives Blue Jays more infield depth after Bo Bichette was scratched yesterday with knee discomfort.
The Blue Jays also announced the starting lineup for this afternoon in which they have Jimenez already starting at shortstop for Toronto on Canada Day which is quite the experience.
