The Toronto Blue Jays recently that they have announced that they have signed a new infielder Darwin Nunez to a new contract.
The Blue Jays farm system got a tough ranking to start the season as they finished in 24th last year and are now ranked 27th heading into the 2025 season which is why they have been trying to sign some new young players.
The Blue Jays have signed Darwin Nunez to a minor league contract
The Blue Jays quietly announced a few days ago that they have signed 17 year old infielder Darwin
Nunez to a minor league contract but there has been no update since.
The Toronto Blue Jays signed INF Darwin Nunez to a minor league contract.
There is not much known about
Nunez so far apart from that he is 17 years old, 6 feet tall and weighs 166 pounds.
The Blue Jays did decide to assign him to the Dominican Summer League Blue Jays the same day as they signed him as he will likely spend the majority of his first season there.
Despite there not being not much known of Nunez, this looks to be a good signing for the Blue Jays future since they need to drastically improve their minor league system since the way it currently sits is not good for their future.

FINAL: #BlueJays 10, Twins 0
The Blue Jays clearly do not have the best farm system but at the same time, it feels quite disrespectful to rank them as low as 27th when they have great players such as Trey Yesavage, Arjun Nimmala and Alan Roden.
