The Toronto Blue Jays are on fire right now but are still dealing with some starting rotation issue which is why there has been rumors that they might bring Yariel Rodriguez back to the starting rotation.
The biggest issue the Blue Jays starting rotation has had this year is how much Bowden Francis has been struggling on top of a long list of injuries including Max Scherzer and Alek Manoah.

The Blue Jays originally signed Rodriguez to be a starting pitcher but after having a rough season last year, they decided to move him to the bullpen for the 2025 season which has worked out beautifully.

Rodriguez has definitely found his groove as he currently has yet to allow a single run in 16.2 innings after last game including the fastest pitch of his career which clocked in at 98.9 MPH.
