The Toronto Blue Jays announced an unfortunate update regarding outfielder Anthony Santander as his season might be over.
The Blue Jays recently stated that Santander landed in Toronto and was looking at plan with team doctors as the next course of actions to get him back in the lineup but things have taken a turn for the worst.

Schneider did add that his is hopeful that Santander will be back this season but with the information given it seems very doubtful.

Since Santander is still weeks away from swinging a bat, the chances seem very slim that he will be good to go before the end of September but if the Blue Jays go deep enough in the playoffs, he might have a chance to return.
