The Toronto Blue Jays fans have taken over Seattle

The Toronto Blue Jays fans are travelling to Seattle to support their team, with their season on the line down 0-2, playing game 3 and game 4 on the road, the postseason has seen some record numbers for the Blue Jays and their fan attendance.

The Canadian Press reported on the dedication of several Blue Jays fans, flying across the country into the United States, to watch them take on the Seattle Mariners for the next two ALCS games. The fans haven't lost hope being down 0-2 and they're hoping the team hasn't either.
"Fans of the Toronto Blue Jays are taking planes, boats and automobiles to give their team some much-needed support against the winning Mariners in the American League Championship Series. Toronto is down two games heading into T-Mobile Park to play the Seattle Mariners for Game 3 in the best-of-seven series. Regular-season games in Seattle often have a home feel for the Jays, with fans in Western Canada making the trek across the border."-CP
October is a crucial time for tourism in Seattle, according to "Visit Seattle". With the summer coming to a close, the hotels, restaurants and shops could use the added boost of tourism from postseason baseball.
"But the playoffs come at a time when visits from Canadians are not guaranteed, with the organization saying it anticipates a year-over-year drop of 26 per cent from international visitors in 2025, the largest of major cities in the U.S., due to Seattle's dependence on Canada."-CP
It'll be interesting to see just how much of T-Mobile park is filled with Blue Jays fans Wednesday night. The Blue Jays need the support now more than ever.
