The Toronto Blue Jays announced early this morning that prospect Trey Yesavage along with Khal Stephen and Gage Stanifer have all received promotions.
Yesavage has been on fire to start the year in Single-A with the Dunedin Blue Jays as he currently has a 2.43 ERA in Single-A which is why it was obvious that the Blue Jays were going to promote him at some point.

The Blue Jays announce early this morning that Yesavage has finally been promoted to High-A with the Vancouver Canadians which according to reports was always the plan for him.
The Toronto Blue Jays promoted a trio of pitching prospects from the Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays to the High-A Vancouver Canadians on Saturday, per MLB.com's Keegan Matheson. -TSN
The reasoning behind Yesavage not being called up earlier to Vancouver is apparently because they wanted him to establish himself in Single-A to start while also not having to deal with the cold in Vancouver to start the season.
Per Matheson, the organization had always planned to give Yesavage time to establish a professional routine in Dunedin and to avoid pitching in cold and rainy conditions in Vancouver in April. -TSN
The Blue Jays also announced that Gage Stanifer and Khal Stephen will also be promoted to High-A with the Vancouver Canadians as both pitchers has been playing extremely well too.

Stanifer has typically followed Yesavage out of the bullpen in games this season, and the 21-year-old that was selected out of high school in the 19th round of the 2022 draft has been completely dominant. -TSN
If Yesavage continues to impress once in Vancouver, there is a solid chance that he finds himself in Double-A before the end of the season.
