Breaking: Kenley Jansen to the Angels
Despite being 37 years old, Jansen clearly still has a lot left in the tank as he is coming off a solid season with the Boston Red Sox in 2024 where he finished with a 3.29 ERA and 27 saves.
Jansen is one of the best relief pitchers of all-time as he currently sits fourth all-time in terms of career saves with 447, 31 saves behind Hall of Famer Lee Smith who is in third place.
Big move for Angels. Kenley is 4th alltime with 447 saves, 31 behind Hall of Famer Lee Smith
The Blue Jays had interest in Jansen this off-season but it looks like they decided to look elsewhere instead which might end up being a mistake since landing him for $10 million would have been a steal for the Blue Jays.
