The Toronto Blue Jays seem to be moving on from Orelvis Martinez after recent update

The Toronto Blue Jays have a few interesting pieces when it comes to prospect that they could move at the trade deadline but none more than Orelvis Martinez.
While Martinez was seen as the next player to make that big jump from minors to majors, he was suspended for PEDs last season and has not returned to the Blue Jays since.
Blue Jays will look to trade prospect Orelvis Martinez at the trade deadline
The Blue Jays have had a ton of injuries this season but have yet to call up Martinez even once so far which point directly to the fact that they might be done with the young slugger.
According to reports, the Blue Jays could look to trade Martinez as the deadline as he has enough value that he could bring them back a solid return with a player than can impact the lineup right away.
FanSided's Vanessa Serrao recently suggested the Blue Jays could use former top prospect and current top-three prospect Orelvis Martinez as a trade chip ahead of the trade deadline this season. -Pressnell
"Orelvis Martinez still holds value as a trade piece for the Toronto Blue Jays, although perhaps not as high as it once was," Serrao wrote. "He is a solid power-hitting prospect in the Blue Jays' farm system who has the potential to be a 30-home run hitter. If the Blue Jays were to deal him, he would provide upside as a utility infielder. If he remains with Toronto past the deadline, he will likely get a call-up and could be utilized at third base. -Serrao
While Martinez is one of the Blue Jays top prospects and could have a long career in the MLB if he turns things around, they might get more value out of him bring trading him away.
Things are going well for the Blue Jays right now which is why they do not necessarily want to trade away anyone on their current roster but will likely look to move some prospects at the deadline.
It will be interesting to see what the Blue Jays roster looks like after the trade deadline.
