The Toronto Blue Jays sign new free agent shortstop
The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they signed free agent shortstop Maddox Latta yesterday after he went undrafted at the MLB Draft last week.
The Blue Jays have been busy with some signings after the MLB draft as they also signed LHP Carson Myers from Auburn University yesterday after he also went undrafted.

News broke yesterday that the Blue Jays agreed to terms with shortstop free agent Maddox Latta after he went undrafted and it looks like the Blue Jays got a serious steal in Latta.

Maddox Latta has signed a free agent contract with the Toronto Blue Jays!
Latta was suppose to transfer to Texas A&M next season but it looks like he chose to go pro instead and will now begin his career with the Blue Jays.
According to reports, the Blue Jays got a seriously skilled shortstop in Latta who won the Big West Defensive player of the year with Fullerton and is able to handle multiple positions around the infield.
