After the draft, the Blue Jays announced that they decided to agree on a deal with former Auburn University pitcher Carson Myers who went undrafted over the last few days.
BREAKING: Auburn LHP Carson Myers has signed with the Toronto Blue Jays, he tells me for @Auburnanytime
Myers had a great season at Auburn in 2025 as he finished with a 3-2 record and 3 saves to go along with a 2.77 ERA in 52 innings pitched while striking out an incredible 67 batters in that time.
This seems like a solid move by the Blue Jays as Myers seems like a pitcher that should have gotten drafted with the numbers he put up at Auburn and the Blue Jays made the right move of locking him down.
The Blue Jays will likely be signing more players that went undrafted over the next few days as there is still all kinds of talented players available even if the draft is done.
