The Toronto Blue Jays have taken notice that 2024 draft pick Khal Stephen turning heads down in Duendin Florida as he has been giving great pitching for the team.

The second-round pick who was right behind Trey Yesavage Has been giving impressive numbers in his fist impression in Single A ball which is great news for the organization.

Stephen has chance to move quick within the Blue Jays farm

Stephen's fastball is excellent, sitting around 93 mph while touching 95. It's a pitch he can miss bats with, too, because of a very strong changeup that sets up the heater. Yes, Stephen's arsenal is deep and the Blue Jays believe he has four legitimate, MLB-caliber pitches for down the road, but his fastball and changeup -- and how they work together -- immediately jumps out. Combine that with a 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame and a person who earns all of the right praise as a teammate? There's a reason the Blue Jays have been buzzing about Stephen. - Keegan Matheson
The #BlueJays' 2024 second-rounder sports a 1.29 ERA through four starts, and Toronto has taken notice: https://atmlb.com/4itydDh

After playing in the NCAA last year, he has given Dunedin 25 strikeouts over 21 innings and an ERA of 1.29.
It's becoming clear that the Blue Jays have several key pieces especially potential starting pitchers as Yesavage, Stephen, Arjun Nimmala and Jake Bloss are some of the names that will move within the ranks and will be names that will be discussed as future players for the Blue Jays.

Blue Jays head to Manhattan for a series with the Yankees

Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are looking to get back on track after their strong start where recently they have fallen behind and are now one game below 500 in the standings.
They were swept by the Houston Astros and last two games of three against the Seattle Mariners as the teams offence has gone silent especially against the Astros.
The Blue Jays have been contending early on this season for the American League East as they were one game behind the Yankees until their recent losing streak and it remains to be seen whether the team can snap out of its issues.
There are several problems plaguing the Blue Jays including depth in their relief pitching including their starting rotation as Easton Lucas was sent to Buffalo after having two terrible starts.
The team is also unsure when Max Scherzer will begin pitching as he continues to struggle with thumb inflammation.
Game one against the Yankees will take place on April 25th and game time will be at 7:05 PM eastern in Yankee Stadium.
