It's clear that the message has been sent, if you do not play well, you wil be getting the boot, there is too much on the line and not enough time to "be patient anymore". Here are 3 players that can suffer the same fate as Cavan Biggio.

Génesis Cabrera
Last year after being traded to the Jays at the deadline, Cabrera performed very well in his 29 outings, boasting a 2.66 ERA out of the bullpen.

This season has been a much different story, as he has not pitched to his potential and found himself in tight spots in almost all his appearances. He has a mid-5.00 ERA and he averages 11.0 hits per 9 innings pitched.

Ernie Clement
Clement has been struggling all season long, having spurts of great play, but he is a defensive liability in the infield and has failed to live up to the hype he had in the 2023 season.

He has a measly .227 Batting AVG and .589 OPS... Not to mention he has already committed 5 errors, ones that have costed runs and games.

With this being said there is time to run it around, but when their are promising prospects waiting their turn, the time is now, not later.
